Apple Valley, Simley and Jackson County Central drew the top seeds for the state high school wrestling tournament on March 1 at Xcel Energy Center.

Apple Valley drew the top seed in Class 3A, while Simley was seed No. 1 in Class 2A and Jackson County Central was tops in Class 1A.  The seedings and tournament pairings were announced Tuesday morning by the Minnesota State High School League.

The state wrestling individual portion of the tournament is March 2 and March at Xcel.
