1. Apple Valley: No explanation needed.

2. Prior Lake: Tough to beat at the upper weights.

3. St. Michael-Albertville: Mitch McKee, Tommy Thorn and Mark Voss are an elite core.

4. Hastings: Will thrive if Raiders get solid efforts from the lighter weights.

5. Simley (2A): Not ready to relinquish its title.

6. Totino-Grace (2A): Junior Lance Benick is No. 1 in the nation at 195 pounds.

7. Cambridge-Isanti: Eight section place-winners return.

8. New Prague (2A): Nearly the entire lineup is back from fourth-place state team in 2013.

9. Lakeville North: Hoping for help at 106 for an otherwise veteran group.

10. Chisago Lakes (2A): Four returning state entrants and quality depth.
